The Challenge
- The shop had run profitably for 32 years on memory, notebooks, and trust — and had zero digital records.
- No inventory list, no POS, no financial reporting.
- Stock levels lived in the owner's head, customer credit in a drawer of paper, and nobody could say with certainty whether the business made money in a given month.
- The staff had never used business software, and any system that required them to become computer users would fail.
What We Built
- We started with a full digitization audit — discovery interviews with every stakeholder, in Thai, translating three decades of informal process into formal requirements.
- Then we built the complete backend: a 14-table system covering inventory, sales, purchasing, repair-job management, customer credit, expense logging, and daily cash reconciliation.
- The interface is a custom AI chatbot in Thai — staff record sales, look up parts, log expenses, and pull reports by simply chatting.
- An AI photo-extraction pipeline reads the shop's handwritten cash ledgers straight into the reconciliation system, and a QR label-printing service tagged the physical inventory.

The Results
- Within 30 days of rollout, every employee operated the business through the chatbot daily.
- The company received its first-ever P&L and a formal salary structure for family employees — after 32 years of blended finances.
- Daily AI operating costs run under $1.
- The system became the template for Auto Shop OS, now offered to parts and repair shops across Thailand.
